GFFA Rally: It’s On!

We’re counting down to the Rally next Saturday and getting ready! In addition to speakers and entertainment, Amy Ruiz from the Mayor’s office will issue a proclamation of Trans Celebration Week.

Two Dance Benefits – One Happening Night

Join us Friday June 18th for two fabulous dance parties to benefit two great causes – Gender Free for All and TransActive.
$5 at the door will get you TWO great parties, back-to-back (or side by side):
ONE NIGHT STAND at Boxxes, with DJ Beyonda, DJ Chelsea Starr, DJ Party Martyr, and DJ Freddie Fagula, and ROBO PONY VS. B.O.G.O. at the Red Cap Garage, featuring DJ Automaton, DJ Equestrian, DJ Girlfriends, and DJ Goddessfinger.
This all-star line up of Portland’s finest queer DJs will be throwing down beats to benefit GFfA as well as TransActive – a Portland-based organization that provides education, advocacy and support services to gender non-conforming and transgender children, youth and their families.
Come by after the T*Party at Overlook Park and get your Pride weekend started off with a bang, while your bucks go to support important work.

GFfApdx 2010: A Week of Celebration

Last year, the City of Portland and Multnomah County proclaimed an entire week in celebration of the Trans March!
GFfApdx is planning for a full week of events running from August 1st through August 7th!
